Sweet Potato Pizza Crust
Trying to eat better? START WITH PIZZA. This sweet potato pizza crust has all of the taste and none of the baked, bleached bullshit.
Warm up your oven to 400 degrees and grab a large baking sheet and line that shit with some parchment.
In a large bowl mix up the sweet potato, oat flour, baking soda, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and curry powder. Kinda kneed it with your hands until everything is blended and a you can form a sticky ball of dough. Cover a cutting board with a little flour and roll or press your dough into a 10 inch wide circle, about ½ inch thick. Ya know, like a fuckin pizza shape.
Throw that on your baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the edges start to look a lil brown. Then pull the crust out, top with whatever you're using and throw it back under the broiler for up to 5 minutes to get the toppings all warmed up and a kinda roasted. We used grilled artichokes, roasted bell peppers, arugula, and the Plant-based Pesto and Almond Feta from Saraha Rose's cookbook. Want those recipes? Gotta buy Eat Feel Fresh. WE CAN’T DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU.
*just throw a mounded cup of rolled oats in a blender or food processor and run that shit till you got flour. Easy.
Chimichurri Sauce
Meet pesto's cousin that spent a semester abroad, chimichurri. This is the kinda shit you wanna serve just so you can say "with a chimichurri sauce" and you sound fancy af. NOW GO IMPRESS SOMEONE USING THE POWER OF SAUCE.
Alfredo Sauce
Alfredo should NEVER be bought. This is prob the easiest, simplest, and classiest sauce to make at home. It's usually got a shitload of fat tho, which is just unnecessary especially if you're pourin it over carbs.
